“Happy Days Are Here Again!“ is a small show at Nina Lumer gallery in Milan that opened in December 2009. There were 11 large-format hand-drawn calendars presented: some done on hand-made paper, some on preprinted fabrics. I attempted to discern the still blurry but undoubtedly prosperous and happy days of the new year 2010 (Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese calendar). Four ceramic “White Tigers of Happiness” guard the gallery entrance and its precious calendar collection.
